Our Principal

Katherine Klaver is honored to serve the community of STEM Launch, where she has worked since 2016. She has been working in Adams 12 schools since 2009. Prior to her role as principal, Kate served as an assistant principal, STEM Coordinator, and student achievement coach. Before her time at STEM Launch, she taught at STEM Lab and Malley Drive Elementary in Adams 12. She also taught in a 5th/6th grade classroom in Mapleton and taught middle school math in Adams 14. Mrs. Klaver received her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Iowa and her Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Urban and Linguistically Diverse Education through the Boettcher Teachers Program and the University of Denver. She has three daughters and loves trail running and spending time in the mountains.
