Former STEM Launch student gives back
Former STEM Launch student gives back
One of our former STEM Launch students (Marco Renteria, middle school student from 2014-2017) who is now a CU Business student, hosted a fun, free after school workshop with our K-3 students in partnership with other CU Business students in order to give back to the STEM Launch community. Students used tools to build holiday napkin holders. The students and families loved this experience and we were thankful to engage with a former student and higher education partner!
This story exemplifies our ELEVATE Focus Area: Diverse Learning. Sharing stories of how students receive engaging learning experiences and the focused-attention they need through appropriate student-to-staff ratios and varied programming.
