STEM is for all students

Welcome to STEM Launch. Our mission is to inspire achievement through rigorous, innovative, and authentic experiences. We offer a full range of rigorous educational opportunities in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, literacy, and social studies with full support of music, art, and physical education. Student skills are developed for social, political, and economic participation in a diverse, independent, and evolving world.

STEM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. STEM Launch will be fully inquiry-based and utilize problem-based learning to engage all students in STEM education and unique learning opportunities.

STEM Launch will have student-centered, fully integrated technology in every classroom. Classrooms will be demonstration in nature and highly innovative in design.

All students will have access to dynamic engineering curriculum and authentic experiences with industry partnerships to solve real engineering problems. Students will be immersed in the problem-solving process and be able to test and redesign their ideas.

STEM educators use proven, research-based, instructional practices that actively engage students in the learning process and encourage students to take ownership of their learning.
