Intramural Sports and Other Athletics

Adams12 Five Star Schools allows middle school students (grades 6-8) to participate in four intramural sports each year: soccer, volleyball, basketball and flag football.  Each sport is co-ed and open to all ability levels.  An emphasis is placed on sport-specific skills, rules of play, sportmanship, challenging onself, and the benefits of physical activity.

A signed District Intramural Form (Spanish version) is also required for middle school soccer, volleyball, basketball and flag football.

In Middle School Biking Club we will be going on rides off-campus, but will be riding on local paths around the neighborhood. Students must bring a bike and a helmet to participate.

MS Biking Club Registration


Running Club (2nd - 5th)

The elementary running club, is a club designed for kids to learn how to compete in a competitive enviornment against elementary aged kids from other schools across the district. It is a relay race, consiting of 4-team members, that run a full lap around the track. For you track folks, it's the 4x100 race.

Clothing: Tennis shoes that tie, zip, or strap. T-shirt & shorts or athletic pants

Yoga raises body awareness, increases self-image, teaches concentration, and reduces stress. As a Certified Kid Yoga Teacher, I will provide a structured learning environment for your child to experience the many benefits of yoga. Through play-based and imaginative movement expect your child to learn yoga poses, gain increased flexibility, strength, and balance, while simultaneously learning skills for focus and mindfulness through deep breathing exercises. Class with end with relaxing stillness and meditation.
