rUniversal Screening: In Adams 12 Five Star Schools, 2nd and 6th graders who are not already identified GT participate in the Universal Screening process for potential gifted and talented identification. Find more detailed information regarding Universal Screening in the Five Star District.
Important dates for the Universal Screening process at our school: All second and six grade students will be screened using the universal screener at STEM Launch K-8. Testing takes place at STEM Launch during the regular school day.
The Universal Screener will be administered on Tuesday, September 17th, 19th, 20th 2024.
Parent/Staff/Student GT Recommendation: All students can participate in the GT identification process by submitting a complete body of evidence. Find more detailed information regarding the GT recommendation process in the Five Star District.
If you would like to nominate your kindergarten, first, third, fourth, fifth, seventh, eight grade student for testing we ask that you fill out a nomination form for your scholar (s) before October 20th, 2024. If your student is in second or sixth grade, or already identified as Gifted and Talented you do not need to fill out this form.
