NATIONAL JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY
The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is an organization that recognizes not only academic achievement but other characteristics essential to citizens in a democracy. More than just an honor roll, NJHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, Character and Citizenship. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since its beginning in 1929.
At STEM Launch any 6th, 7th or 8th grade student can become eligible for membership into the STEM Launch National Junior Honor Society. Students are expected to complete community service hours.
